In preparation for our opening in April 2012 we need to move our large object collection, of approximately 4500 items, back into the restored workshops. We are seeking two part time (3 days per week) Collections Move Co-ordinators to supervise and manage small teams of volunteers.
The volunteer team will handle, move and pack/unpack our historic collections in preparation for display at Chedham's Yard. It will be a central feature of this post holder's work to lead and direct the volunteer collections move team. The post holder must also consult the collections database and other resources available to ensure artefacts are packed and unpacked correctly. The posts will be for January and February 2012, exact dates to be confirmed.
Closing date – 22nd December Interviews will take place on the 5th and 6th January with a view to starting week commencing 9th January 2012.
